Computer activity tracking is one of a handful of new features in the latest version of The PandaWare Company’s popular Macintosh time and expense billing application, TimeCache 6.1.2. The update is free for all registered TimeCache 6.x customers. Its major improvements include:
- Activity tracking: TimeCache can now log active applications and windows to provide users additional data for refining their billing
- Billing category aliases: Users who charge different clients different rates for the same billing categories now have improved options for presenting billing categories in invoices and reports
- Duplicate date protection: TimeCache 6.1.2 offers additional protection against posting duplicate entries
- Bug fixes: TimeCache 6.1.2 fixes a bug with entering dates from its calendar window, as well as a handful of other more obscure problems
Beta tester Paul Morrison says "The activity tracking feature is a great addition. It gives me extra data points for those times I inevitably forget to start timing my work for a client. It shows me exactly when I stopped and started working on a document, and even totals the time for me."
