Olympus C-2020 Zoom Digital Camera
The C-2020 is the first Olympus filmless digital with color, sepia and black and white modes, the first with the capability to shoot QuickTime video and has fully automatic and manual controls. Aside from those features, most of the revisions to this upgrade of the popular C-2000 model are cosmetic; including a new improved wide-angle LCD, power-on dial design and other slight ergonomic and control layout changes.
Reviews are generally very positive for the C-2020, but most list the major drawback as being a slightly steep price for a point & shoot. As C-Net concisely points out, the camera’s "price is nothing to celebrate, but its images are" (full review). A review from Megapixel.net commends the company for heeding consumer requests and incorporating slight changes in the C-2020 that its predecessor lacked, and Imaging Resource agrees, adding that the camera should be very popular as a result.
