New Agency Aims to Make Buying Stock Easier
Press Release
Graphic designers, Art Directors and other creatives can attest spending hours and sometimes days ?nding “the one” photo for their project. CaptureShot, a start-up based in Toronto, Canada, sets out to create an easy and useful tool to ?nd and buy stock photography.
CEO Olivier Yiptong is pleased to launch CaptureShot at the Visual Connections New York 2010 Image Expo on October 13. The stock photo industry has been traditionally seller-focused, making buyers jump through hoops to buy images. While microstock has helped some hobbyists to become professionals, microstock agencies often carry millions of images which makes ?nding images very hard.
CaptureShot partners with suppliers Image Source, Blend Images, Cultura Images, Moodboard and Photo Alto to provide high-quality images and a simple and easy to use user-interface to make buying photos a matter of minutes, not hours. The goal of CaptureShot is to make the experience working with the images simpler and better, with features being developed in true lean-startup style. This new website is slated to launch on October 13, 2010.
