National Association of Photoshop Professionals Announces 2007 Photoshop Hall of Fame Inductees

The National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) is proud to announce that digital color management guru, Andrew Rodney, and Adobe senior director of digital imaging product management, Kevin Connor, will be inducted into the Photoshop Hall of Fame during a special ceremony at the 2007 Photoshop World Conference & Expo in Las Vegas on Thursday, September 6, 2007. The Photoshop Hall of Fame honors and recognizes those individuals whose contributions to the business, education, development, and art of Adobe Photoshop have enduring value.
About Andrew Rodney
Andrew Rodney is owner of The Digital Dog, a leading digital imaging training and consulting business, and is recognized as one of the leading experts in Photoshop color management in the world. Andrew is the author of Color Management for Photographers – Hands on Techniques for Photoshop Users, and provides Photoshop-related articles for several industry publications. Andrew teaches regularly at the Santa Fe Photo Workshops, and also lectures at such shows as Photoshop World, PhotoExpo, and the PMA. He has been a Beta tester for Adobe Photoshop since version 2.5, and is currently an Alpha tester for Adobe. Additionally, Andrew is one of the principle partners of Pixel Genius LLC, the developer of several plug-ins that enhance and extend the capabilities of Photoshop. About Kevin Connor
Kevin Connor is the senior director of product management in the Creative Solutions Business Unit at Adobe Systems Incorporated, and is widely considered a major driving force behind the evolution of Photoshop into a cultural mainstay in computer design and digital photography.
He was intimately involved in all stages of the development and release of Photoshop Lightroom, Photoshop Elements, and Photoshop Camera Raw, and was a key figure in launching the DNG initiative aimed at unifying the currently confusing proliferation of proprietary raw file formats. Additionally, he is one of those responsible for the
development of Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended as an imaging application for professionals in architecture, engineering, medicine, manufacturing, data analysis, and science, as well as a powerful graphic design, 3D design, and motion graphics tool.
