Meet Hal Lasko, the 97-year-old Digital Artist
If you’re still around at age 97, what do you think you’ll be doing? Will you still be producing creative work every day? Still engaged with learning new tech and tools? That would be quite an achievement, and in case you need any inspiration to believe that such a goal really is achievable, check out the story of Hal Lasko.

Hal is indeed 97 years old, and worked as a graphic artist long before the dawn of digital. Nowadays, despite vision and hearing loss, he works ten hours a day creating digital paintings.
To tell the story of how Hal got started creating digital art, his family has produced a video called the Pixel Painter.

You can purchase signed 16 x 20 prints of Hal’s paintings from his website, Hallasko.com, and 10% of each purchase will be donated to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) programs.
