Things like how to set up a document, how to add background music, and how to build multi-bullet slides. Most of these are relevant for both CS3 and CS4 users.
Note that these tricks assume you already know the basics of interactive PDF files that I covered in InDesign CS4 Beyond the Basics (or InDesign CS3 Beyond the Basics).
While I’m on the topic, don’t miss my earlier titles: InDesign CS4: 10 Essential Tips and InDesign CS4: 10 Things to Know About GREP).
Also, whatever you do, do not miss Anne-Marie’s titles InDesign CS4: 10 Tips for Troubleshooting Files, InDesign CS4: 10 Habits of Highly Effective Pros, and Bridge CS4: 10 Things Designers Need to Know!
Not currently a subscriber to lynda.com? Why not? Jeez, it’s a very inexpensive way to learn a wide variety of applications. (Check out the free movies on each of the pages above for examples.)
