Make Your Own Tabletop Letterpress

ReadyMade magazine is an invaluable DIY resource for creatives. It’s worth subscribing to the print version ($19.95 for two years), but you can also find plenty of goodies on the publication’s Web site. That’s where I came across a tutorial on building a tabletop letterpress printer.
To make your own, you’ll need about $100 of supplies, several tools (table saw, chop saw, drill press or power drill), and the know-how to use those tools without injuring yourself. But once you put it all together, you’ll have a press that can churn out original letterpress cards like nobody’s business. In fact, maybe it will be the start of a business!
