Magma Effects for InDesign CS3 on Mac OS X

RogueSheep Incorporated (www.roguesheep.com) today announced the release of Magma Effects™ 1.1 for Mac OS X, a plug-in for Adobe® InDesign® CS3. Magma Effects makes available the rich functionality of Apple’s Core Image technology directly within the InDesign application. New to this version is compatibility with Adobe’s recently updated CS3 version of InDesign. Magma Effects is also provided as a Universal Binary for compatibility with Macintosh computers with Intel CPUs.
With Magma Effects, users can apply a variety of image-enhancement and stylizing effects to any bitmap image placed in Adobe InDesign CS3; Make simple adjustments such as modifying the brightness or contrast of a photo; Composite two images together using one of several blend operations; Highlight specific regions in a photo with the spotlight filter; or apply radical bump and glass distortion filters. There are over 100 image filters included within Mac OS X Tiger that are now available to users of Adobe InDesign CS3, all without switching to another application.
