Currently, the only way to get one of these cameras is through the Lytro online store. But starting next week, the Lytro camera is expanding into major retail sites on the web, and will be available online at Target.com, BestBuy.com, and Amazon.com. Then in November, consumers really be able to get their hands on the Lytro, as the camera will be available at City Target stores in California (San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Westwood), Chicago, and Seattle. Outside the U.S., the Lytro camera will be available in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong and Singapore in October.
The Lytro comes in three colors (Red Hot, Electric Blue, and Graphite) and sells for $499 for the 16 GB model and $399 for the 8 GB model.
