FontExplorer X Pro 2.5.1 for Macintosh systems and FontExplorer X Server 1.5.2 for Mac and Windows platforms are available immediately from www.fontexplorerx.com.
FontExplorer X Pro plug-ins for Adobe CS5
The newly revised software for client computers contains plug-ins that automatically activate fonts when used with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator applications from Adobe’s Creative Suite 5 Master Collection software. The latest version of FontExplorer X Pro also contains improvements related to the server menu and offline use.
FontExplorer X Server enhancements for Windows environments
FontExplorer X Server 1.5.2 brings the same facilities and characteristics of its Mac version to workgroup administrations operating in Windows environments. Users are greeted with a completely revised user interface of the server-system setting, and an improved backup function is now available. In addition, Windows administrators can now create master-slave configurations to optimize performance, such as regulating access to fonts hierarchically in order to distribute the server load among several devices. Workgroup administration for both Mac and Windows environments is handled through FontExplorer X Pro for the Mac.
Availability and pricing
Available for Macintosh computers running Mac OS X 10.4 or later and available in English and German, FontExplorer X Pro 2.5.1 may be downloaded and purchased from www.fontexplorerx.com for $79 U.S. or 79 EUR (including VAT), or 59 GBP (excluding VAT) for a single user license. A 30-day trial version of FontExplorer X Pro is also available to download for new customers.
Available for Mac OS X 10.4 or later and available in English and German, pricing for FontExplorer X Server 1.5.2 starts at $1,599 U.S., 1,199 EUR (plus VAT) or 999 GBP for a server license that includes 10 FontExplorer X Pro client licenses (excluding VAT).
Existing FontExplorer X Pro and Server customers may obtain the newest editions free of charge through the update function of their installed software.
