Learning about 3M VAS: A CreativePro Conversation
CreativePro Network CEO David Blatner chats with 3M's Sean Springer about the new must-try Visual Attention Software (VAS) and how it helps CreativePros design more effectively.
In this CreativePro Conversation, David Blatner chats with Sean Springer of 3M. Sean is an application engineer working on the VAS team. VAS—Visual Attention Software—serves as a “first glance” tool that simulates how people will see the visuals on your website or printed design. Through the web app or plug-in for Photoshop, Illustrator, or XD, VAS analyzes your designs and provides feedback as to what is attracting a reader’s attention, and what might distract from it.
Sean and David spoke about this AI-powered technology—including how 3M’s history in road safety products played a role in its inception—during CreativePro Week 2021.
