How to Fill Letter Shapes with Text in InDesign
Learn how to put text into non-rectangular shapes—even shapes of letters themselves—and have that text fill the shapes completely for a finished look.
In this Three Minutes Max InDesign video, Nigel French breaks text out of the boring standard rectangle frame. He first creates some simple text shapes from live text, then fills those letter shapes with his desired text. To make sure the text fills the shapes completely, Nigel explains how to indicate paragraph breaks by displaying the pilcrow character.
Three Minutes Max comes from a fun—yet very competitive—session at our annual CreativePro Week conference. Speakers have three minutes to wow the audience with the tip and win a prize for a lucky conference attendee.
