In a major upgrade to Glide Effortless https://www.glidedigital.com/, TransMedia will launch on Thursday June 29th automatic PC-to-PC-to-Cell Phone Sync for files, contacts and calendars and new browser based applications, Glide Calendar and Glide Write. Glide’s synchronization technology provides up-to-date, on-the-go access to a user’s photos, music, videos, documents, contacts, calendars and more from PCs and SmartPhones. Home and work computer files, contacts and calendars can be automatically synced and accessed through the Glide Effortless service. Glide Effortless features multi-platform support including Windows, Mac OS X, Windows Mobile 5 and Java based handsets.

and makes them easily accessible from a PC or SmartPhone with flexible calendar display including user defined days and detailed event information.
Glide Calendar provides many ways to invite and send notifications and reminders to anyone with an email address or web access. Glide Calendars and events can easily be shared in emails and video, audio and text chats, published to websites, blogs, personal profiles and documents and made available for public search in the Glide Society and on the web at large.
Glide Calendar provides streaming media support for video, audio, photos and documents transforming a calendar event by adding fun and useful functionality to calendar event sharing. For example, when sending invitations to your child’s birthday party, easily add a video or photo slideshow. Glide Calendar is also ecommerce enabled allowing for direct sales from calendar events.

When sharing documents with others, you can assign view, download and edit rights to documents and track who is viewing, downloading and editing. You can also easily publish your Glide Write documents to websites, blogs, personal profiles and calendars and make them available for public search in the Glide Society and on the web at large.
Glide’s transcoding engines make it easy to import and export documents. You can import and edit documents from most major formats including Microsoft Word, Text Files, HTML and RTF. Glide Write supports rich text editing as well as direct HTML editing.
Glide Write documents are ecommerce enabled allowing for direct sales from documents.
