Get Introduced to "Graphic Define Magazine"
Graphic Define Magazine is an online magazine (https://www.graphicdefine.org) focusing on the business of running a graphic, web, or interactive design studio.
Originally started as a blog by Daniel Schutzsmith, former business manager of the graphic design studio Chopping Block (https://www.choppingblock.com). The idea behind the magazine was born out of its founder’s passion for hearing what other industry leaders had to share on the topic of business.
"I loved having my own blog, but I wanted to hear other industry professionals’ points of view on the topic of business", says Daniel. The result has become an issue based online magazine with articles submitted by various contributors from the design industries and on topics ranging from Sales to Marketing to Sustainability to Finances.
A new issue is posted during the first week of every month and is available for subscription with an RSS aggregator or as an email newsletter. Issue 3 of Graphic Define Magazine is currently up (https://www.graphicdefine.org).
Featuring articles on "Social Networking for Designers" (https://www.graphicdefine.org/issue3/networkingfordesigners), "Going Green Doesn’t Have to Take Much Green" (https://www.graphicdefine.org/issue3/goinggreen), "Getting Your Clients to Pay Up" (https://www.graphicdefine.org/issue3/goinggreen), and more.
