FreshBooks Adds Expense Tracking to Popular Online Invoicing and Time Tracking Service
FreshBooks, the online invoicing and time tracking service for freelancers and service-based small businesses, today announced the release of Expense Tracking, a new service that helps users get their expenses out of their shoe boxes, and onto their invoices and business dashboard. With the new service, FreshBooks customers can now track and manage both the cost and sales sides of their cash flow, for a more complete picture of their business and client relationships. Expense Tracking was the most frequently requested feature in customer feedback surveys and is now included as part of the core FreshBooks service at no additional cost.
Users can add or track expenses from anywhere, even on a mobile device, and get them paid faster by including them in the same professional looking invoices that they use to bill for their time. Customers with multiple users accessing the service can also allow staff to see the status of each of their own expenses. In addition, the service helps users with basic expense tracking, such as their rent, car or phone.
“Launching Expense Tracking was a natural next step for us in helping our customers save time, get paid faster and grow their business,” said Michael McDerment, CEO of FreshBooks. “With ninety-nine percent of our customers already telling us they have or will refer us to a friend, we’re confident that adding expenses will continue to delight them and give them even more reason to share the FreshBooks experience with other freelancers, service professionals and small businesses in their networks.”
