Banners

Classic with a slight Mediterranean vibe, this set of vector banners combine sparse elements with a limited color palette. These palm-laden banners can add class to a letterhead, menu, or even social media post.

Vibrant and colorful, this simple banner shouts good fun in the sun! The classic hibiscus motif just shouts Hawaiian vacation.

Photoshop Brushes

Keep the hibiscus theme going with this set of Photoshop brushes. Each brush creates a solid imprint of the tropical flower.

Create a jungle full of lush vegetation with these Photoshop brushes. With 45 brushes, you can cover your tropical design to your heart’s content.

Who doesn’t love the quirkiness of flamingos? This set of 20 Photoshop brushes features the vibrant bird standing in water, complete with reflections.

What would a list of beach-inspired items be without sand? Keeping with that theme, I present this pack of 15 Photoshop brushes to cover your artwork in virtual sand.

Background Images and Icons

While not strictly tropical, this hand-drawn vector background has a Floridian bent to it. That is, if your idea of Florida comes from Miami Vice or television portrayals of beachside retirement communities.

This vector background screams vintage Hawaiian print shirt. In fact, it’s a seamless pattern so it’s ripe for custom fabric to make a whole beach wardrobe!

Duuuuude! Catch a wave with this pack of retro surf icons. The surf-inspired logo starter kit will have you waxing nostalgic for those gnarly days back in Cali.

This vector background has all the elements of a relaxing beach vacay. Not that I’ve ever played ping-pong on the beach, but I’m willing to let that slide. Especially if I’m on vacation.

Here’s a whole pack of flat icons with a summery beach theme. From starfish to lighthouses to sandcastles, there are 50 fun designs to choose from. The built-in pattern creator lets you create and download a seamless pattern from the icons.

Fonts

When you’re ready to live on the beach and sell ice cream to tourists, I have just the font for your truck’s signage. Creaky Frank is kitschy cliché and I’m okay with that. (click on free stuff and scroll down to Creaky Frank)

Another classic island vibe, Tribeca would feel right at home on a tiki-inspired drink menu.

Seaweed Script is a font that would be at home on an tropical resort’s logo or a casual wedding-in-paradise invitation.

Sporting an art deco edge, Seaside Resort evokes the feeling of sailing off into the sunset on a luxury liner. Get me a mai tai, here I come!

Fun and casual, Beach Resort is a font that’s as laid-back and casual as I can only imagine island life must be.

Photoshop Action

If you’re looking to give your images that sun-bleached look, check out this Photoshop action. Beach Vintage washes across an image like the fading sun as it dips towards the horizon. Is it time for a beach getaway, yet?

I don’t know if this collection will help you imagine you’re in warmer climes, or just drive home the reality that you’re not. Unless you are in one of those sunny spots, in which case…can I come visit?
