Free Preview of VectorScribe 2
The folks at Astute Graphics have released a free public beta version of their powerful Illustrator plug-in VectorScribe, and if you spend any significant amount of time using Illustrator, you should check it out.
The plug-in makes working with vectors faster, easier, and more intuitive by allowing you to reshape and extend paths, remove excess points, and change corners with much less effort than with Illustrator alone. VectorScribe2 will be officially released on October 30th, and works with Illustrator CS4-CC on Windows XP and above, and Mac OS X 10.6-10.9 Mavericks.
