Using keyboard shortcuts is an essential part of being an efficient InDesign user. That’s why we’ve produced keyboard shortcut posters, and include a keyboard shortcut of the week in the InDesign Tip of the Week emails (which you can sign up for here). But most of us have a finite number of brain cells we can devote to memorizing keyboard shortcuts. And some arcane special characters don’t have shortcuts by default. So how can you always be as efficient as possible when adding such things as section symbols or hair spaces?
