Extensis Portfolio Server Updates to Version 10
There are many paths you can take to give people in a company remote access to the company’s files. You can cobble together something using, say, Dropbox, or you build your own software program to manage the assets, or you can buy an existing data asset manager. Portfolio Server falls into the third camp.
The new version 10 of Portfolio Server adds support for searching your database on the iPad and other tablets. It can also convert and play video. Extensis says that version 10 has speedier file cataloging and processing, and that the system is easier for IT staff to administer.
Portfolio Server begins at $1,999 and is available now. For more information, visit www.extensis.com/portfolio or attend a free webinar on July 19 at 11 AM PST.
