Download a Free Font Inspired by Gandhi's Glasses
Gandhijifonts officially launched on October 2, 2010, to mark the 141st birthday of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the Indian political and spiritual leader. The organization states that typefaces can be a “medium of expression that a man can use, not only to follow the Mahatma’s vision but also to start a revolution of his own, where the fonts will give the power to one’s words.”
Accordingly, Gandhijifonts has released a TrueType font based on Ghandi’s spectacles:
