In my October 13, 2006, newsletter, I invited all of you to get a fresh outlook, literally, by paying attention to your immediate surroundings and sending pictures of them to me.
I received more than 100 photos, some of them from readers far away from my home in the California redwoods. It was inspiring to look through others’ eyes. I hope you feel the same as you go through this four-page gallery.
