About 15 years ago, the idea of making interactive documents with InDesign was hot. We thought we’d be cramming all our layout files with cool animations, video, slide shows, and pop-ups as a matter of course. That never quite happened, due to the demise of Flash, DPS, and other factors. But the torch has been carried on by in5 and other tools that allow you to make stunning interactive experiences that stand out from the crowd of static PDFs. Erica Gamet knows a thing (or 50) about producing great HTML content starting from InDesign, so this is a must-see for me.

Even if you’re brand new to GREP, he’ll set you on the right path so you can start building GREP searches and styles without fear, which we all know leads to the Dark Side.
