As one of the world’s top ten packaged software companies, Corel has gained an international reputation for offering schools, businesses, and value-conscious consumers software that is innovative, affordable, and easy to use. Working closely with its education partners, Corel has developed a program that simplifies the way schools purchase software, giving education buyers the ability to customize their choices based on the needs and priorities of each school and district.
“Corel’s new K-12 site license makes it even easier for schools to purchase and deploy Corel software,” said Chad Hoke, VP, Channel Sales at Corel. “Teachers have always been driven to inspire and motivate their students and today, more than ever before, technology plays a key role in that relationship. Corel has developed a program that delivers incredible value to the school system by helping to keep costs down, maximize limited budgets, and reduce administration time while giving teachers and students a full spectrum of software to successfully communicate both inside and outside the classroom.”
“When Corel first approached us to get our views on their new K-12 site license, we were very impressed,” said Bob Richards, Principal of Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Ohio. “They took the time to understand what’s important to education buyers and then followed through with a program that addressed our priorities. With Corel’s easy- to-administer and affordable licensing, we can equip every computer in our school with the most up-to-date software for graphics, office productivity, and digital photography. We don’t have to spend extra time tracking seats or reporting back to Corel, so we can invest that time developing our students instead. Corel understands our priorities as educators and is providing the programs, training, and support we need to enhance communication and learning in the classroom.”
“Corel’s new K-12 site license is another clear example of how Corel is listening to its partners,” said Liz White, education marketing manager at CDW•G. “By developing a site license that is comprehensive, affordable, and easy- to-administer, Corel is helping CDW•G meet the needs of our education customers quickly and effectively. We know our customers will be excited by the benefits this program offers, and we look forward to working with Corel to make innovative technology more available for schools.”
