Conference Keeps You on Publishing's Bleeding Edge
Press Release
Over 20 world-renowned experts will be speaking at the 2011 Print & ePublishing Conference, May 23-25 in the Washington DC area. Presentations include iPad/tablet publishing; creating eBooks for Kindle and the B&N Nook; digital print workflows; and best practices for HTML/CSS, Illustrator, and Photoshop integration.
Anne-Marie Concepcion, co-host of the event and of InDesignSecrets.com, said, âItâs more important than ever for creative professionals to keep on the bleeding edge of publishing. Whether youâre working with paper or pixels, this event will educate, inform, and inspire.â
Attendees have already signed up from a wide spectrum of companies on four continents, including Random House, OâReilly Press, National Gallery of Art, World Bank, Ohio State, and NASA, as well as many design firms and ad agencies.
Because of the focused but intimate nature of the event, attendees have ample opportunity to ask the expertsâincluding Senior Product Managers from the Adobe InDesign teamâquestions of their own, during presentations and several Q&A sessions.
Post-conference, full-day tutorials on âCSS/HTML5,â âInDesign Beyond Print,â and âPhotoshop + Illustratorâ are also available. Information about the event will appear on Twitter with the hashtag #pepcon.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Bonus Materials
All conference attendees receive breakfast, lunch, and over $400 worth of extras, including: a one-year subscription to InDesign Magazine and a one-month subscription to the lynda.com online training library.
Register Early and Save!
Attendees who register before April 8 will receive a $200 savings as an âearly birdâ discount. Group and education discounts are also available.
