Board Game for Type Designers
Behance designer Lukasz Kulakowski combined his love of board games with his love of typography. The result was Gametica, a simple roll-and-race board game where players put their type knowledge to the test. The questions on the 140 game cards range from visual recognition of fonts, to events in typographical history. Kulakowski has designed the board, questions, cards, even the players’ tokens, which can be printed and folded according to the included folding template. His Behance page even has a free, high-res version of the Gametica poster available for download. The Gametica game isn’t in production yet, but Kulakowski is looking for a publisher to make the game a reality for all type-obsessed designers.
