Badia OpenNow 3.0 Pro for QuarkXPress 7 Public Beta Now Available
Badia Software announces the release of OpenNow 3.0 Pro Public Beta for QuarkXPress and QuarkXPress Passport 7.
OpenNow 3.0 Pro is an XTension that lets you double-click on any picture to quickly access complete image information. It also provides tools for updating, revealing, changing preview resolution, and opening the image with its default application or any other application. QuarkXPress users now have instant and thorough information about any picture in a document with a click of the mouse.
The information displayed by OpenNow 3.0 Pro includes:
- Picture name and Finder icon.
- Reveal image in Finder.
- Full path / Reveal any enclosing folder in the Finder.
- Image size.
- Dimensions (width x height).
- Format (EPS, TIFF, etc.).
- Color Model (RGB, CMYK, etc.).
- Resolution.
- Effective resolution (takes into account scaling).
- Date last modified.
- Status (OK, Modified, etc.).
- ‘Update Now’ button for Modified/Wrong Type images.
- Instantly switch preview resolution (low/high).
- Open image with default application or with any other application.
- List of 15 recent ‘Open With’ applications.
- Ability to open all subsequent pictures with same application.
- Access picture usage window to update Missing images.
This beta version of OpenNow 3.0 Pro works with the current public beta of QuarkXPress 7 (available from the Quark’s website), and it will be fully-functional until March 31, 2006.
