Joy Pollard is here to geek out on InDesign and chew bubble gum, and she’s all out of bubble gum! She’s dabbled in most of the creative suite, but primarily spends her time working in InDesign, LightRoom, Photoshop, & Illustrator. She spends her days hiding from the Hawai‘i sun (which isn’t that hard to do in rainy Hilo), and her nights playing board games or consuming science fiction. She works with a team of designers communicating astronomical discovers to the word, but her favorite thing to do is find clever ways to use InDesign in unexpected ways. She’s worked as a theatre technician & technical director, planetarium technician & operator, and her derby name was Elekchick KillJoy =)
