Astute Graphics Releases Stylism for Illustrator
Astute Graphics makes some incredibly useful plug-ins for Adobe Illustrator. I had a blast demonstrating them in my lynda.com course, Up and Running With Astute Graphics for Illustrator.
And now there’s a new tool just added to the bunch. It’s called Stylism and it allows users to manipulate native Illustrator effects like Drop Shadow, Feather, Inner Glow, Outer Glow, Transform, Free Distort (and more), in a very natural and intuitive way simply by using controls and menus on a selected object. No more dealing with panels, input fields, and dialog boxes—just grab and go.

And you can combine Stylism with another plug-in called Phantasm to make use of flexible contour controls for Drop Shadow, Feather, Outer Glow and Blur effects.

Other Stylism features include quick control of effect resolution and the ability to define styles and contours that you can re-use between sessions.
Stylism works in both Mac OS and Windows in Illustrator CS5 and above. Currently, you can purchase it for £29/€35/$48 or get it in a discount bundle along with 3 other plug-ins (InkQuest, Phantasm, and Rasterino).
