How to Alternate Text Styles in InDesign

2

In this “Three Minutes Max” video, Chad Chelius shows how to create an alternating pattern paragraph style on InDesign text. Using the Next Style feature, he demos how to make a “vicious loop” to create the alternate styles.

Three Minutes Max comes from a fun—yet very competitive—session at our annual CreativePro Week conference. Speakers have three minutes (max!) to wow the audience with the tip and win a prize for a lucky conference attendee.

Great quick tip but wasn’t Table Styles meant to do this? I can never get Table Styles to save me much work. I just end up setting up one table and then duplicating the formatted version and then copy/pasting data back into the duplicate.
