These updates are available free-of-charge to existing 2.1.x users by downloading the 2.1.3 installer from the company website
XPert Align 2.1.3 provides an intuitive, visual method for aligning items with other items or the page. Simply select the items to align, then click a button to automatically align the items with each other, center them on the page, place them equidistant across the page. XPert Align eliminates having to work with guides and measurement just to align QuarkXPress items.
XPert Layers 2.1.3 helps users juggle layered items that comprise many design elements by offering an easy method for locating, selecting, and modifying layered items on pages. The layering of items in QuarkXPress provides many design opportunities, but it also presents many challenges when it comes to selecting and modifying items. That’s where XPert Layers comes in – you store items on specific layers, show the layers you want to work on, and modify the items independent of items on other layers.
XPert Print 2.1.3 lets users print or export QuarkXPress pages and spreads as EPS files. When exporting an EPS file XPert Print offers the option of embedding the project fonts within the EPS. Supported font types are TrueType, OpenType, and Type1. XPert Print also adds a tool to the QuarkXPress tool palette, this tool lets you select any portion of a page or spread to print/export.
XPert Scale 2.1.3 lets you quickly scale QuarkXPress documents, items, groups, and contents similar to the way drawing programs scale objects. Through preferences, you specify what gets scaled – text, frames, offsets, line weights, and more. You can scale items visually or numerically (by entering percent values or dimensions). With both its precision and interactive scaling methods, XPert Scale can simplify headline creation, logo development, copy fitting, picture and caption adjustments, and many other common tasks.

XPert Align, XPert Layers and XPert Scale are all priced at $99.99 USD each and are currently available for Macintosh System 9.1 or later, or Microsoft Windows 98 or later. The XTensions require QuarkXPress 4.1 or later. Upgrades from versions 2.0 are priced at $39.99. Upgrades from versions 1.0 to 2.1.1 are priced at $49.99.
