Adobe Acrobat 7.02 Fixes Security Issue

Adobe Systems Inc. has released Acrobat 7.02, an update for the Standard and Professional versions of its Portable Document Format (PDF) creation software. The new release improves security, adds support for links to files, and fixes bugs associated with forms, according to the company. The updates can be downloaded from Adobe’s Web site (Windows Update).
The security problem could possibly allow malicious PDF documents that use JavaScript to launch another application. What’s more, an installer bug on Mac OS X has been corrected that elevated the permissions of the Safari Frameworks folder.
