A Lighthearted Calendar for the New Year
Exactly who decided that December is a time to reflect on the past year and to plan for improvements to be made in the new year? Even with the promise the new calendar year holds, we all knows that kind of thinking usually lasts until about January 12th. Why not embrace the futility of the “new year, new you” thinking from the start? I present to you the Calendar of Silly Holidays.
Printed on 12 separate postcards, each month features a whimsical—yet real—holiday. Whether you’re looking forward to National Kick Butt Day or can’t wait to celebrate Napping Day (presumably by not exercising more?), you’ll have more than failed resolutions to look forward to each month out the year. The holidays are prominently featured with hand-lettered design and are accompanied by a month grid on simple kraft cardstock.
If you get tired of Christmas, Independence Day, and Halloween, you might give National Underwear Day, Extraterrestrial Visitor Day, or Shark Awareness Day a try. Now to find my best friend that perfect present for International Ninja Day!
