Photograph a Moment in May
The people behind Lens, the New York Times blog on “Photography, Video, and Visual Journalism,” are organizing a global record of one moment in time, captured by everyone who wants to participate. The moment: 15:00 hours in Coordinated Universal Time (U.T.C.) on May 2, 2010. (Find out what time it will be where you live here.)
The event is called “A Moment in Time,” and the Lens envisions the results as a “worldwide photographic mosaic.” For suggestions on subject matter and details on submission, see the blog posts “A Timely Global Mosaic, Created by All of Us” and “Photographers Prepare for a Moment in May.”
