Smart Guides not appearing

      Greetings,

      I am watching a tutorial about InDesign, and there was a portion that was talking about making text boxes and how it would show smart guides when making one. I have it enabled, but I’m unable to replicate the tutorial that shows the green lines. I did a search and the only other time this is a problem for people is when they Snap to Document (ctrl-alt-‘) and I don’t have that enabled.

      Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

      It seems, your InDesign Preferences are different.

      Go to InDesign Preferences (Cmd/Ctrl + K)
      Go to Guides & Pasteboard tab >> under the “Smart Guide Options”, check all the boxes.

      Hope you’ll see the Green again…
