Script for selecting & applying object style to multiple tables

      I am in the process of redesigning a book for its new edition. The older edition had been designed in ID CS4. The new edition will also be designed using CS4 on Windows platform. The old edition has a huge number of tables, a few containing text & others images in a single-celled table, all of them inserted within text. Is there a script which can select all the tables within the document, move them to the pasteboard, apply an object style containing the text wrap (jump object) & then paste in place. This would save a lot of my time & effort. Thanks in advance.

      Hi Mayoor,

      That’s quite a lot you have dreamed of. I think I have something similar with me. Please check if it somewhat works for you.

      The below script Copy-Cut the selected Text/Table and creates a New TextFrame at the Cursor position with the copied content.

      For TextWrap, check if someone can tweak this out.

      …in addition, you can create an Object Style with TextWrap and other settings and apply it on the Newly created Text Frame.

      PS: The script was created by Jongware in 2013 and it still works…
