      Hi.

I work with two 100 pages magazines, one in English and a translated version to Portuguese. Translations workflow is not a problem, it’s under control, but I was thinking about a way to manage those layouts. Most pages are essentially the same, just translated text, and some are completely different (some parts interest to a Country and not to the other).

      Let me explain the scenario:
      1. I have masters with different color bar in the side, and with elements like the name of the magazine in the footer. Names are different in ENG and PRT.

      2. Today I make the English page, then copy it’s content in the correspondent Portuguese page and change to translated text.

      3. Problem is that I need to create the master with the same color in the PRT version before pasting, to make sure magazine name is in Portuguese.

      4. Besides that, sometimes if something is changed in the ENG version, I need to make the same change in the PRT layout too.

It’s okay, it’s not a big trouble, but maybe there is a better way to handle that. I tried alternate layouts, but it was very confusing.

As I said, it’s not important, I’m just asking because maybe someone has a workaround to deal with this. :)

      Thanks a lot,
      Luiz
