Bitmapped Images – InD 2015.4

      Anyone else running into this?

      With the latest upgrade, when I set the color of a bitmapped image to something other than black, it won’t display correctly. It outputs and prints correctly, but shows up as black on the screen. When I output to a PDF and open it in Acrobat, the line art displays correctly.

      Yes, I believe that is a known bug in 2015.4 and Adobe intends to fix it. But I haven’t seen a fix yet. Frustrating.

        Thanks, David. Yes, VERY frustrating, since I’m working on a Pop Art style piece with tons of halftone dots in different colors. Ugh!

      I figured out a workaround for this — create a new document the same size and use Place to import pages from the original InDesign document. (Check the import options box so you can place specific pages.) For whatever reason, the new document with the placed InDesign pages displays the line art correctly.
