    At our newspaper, we create ads in Indesign6, export as PDFs, then pagination imports the ads into the actual pages as they build the paper (also in indesign 6). For our digital edition, we are creating interactive elements in the ads (i.e., links to advertiser website, maps, etc) but they don’t work after being imported to the pages. So we have to create our links by making boxes over the link area on a separate layer, and then they have to be re-placed over each ad on the pages after they’re built. Tedious. Is there any way to retain the interactivity of the ad pdf after it’s imported?
