Creating a pop-up TOC

      I am an inDesign CC user, but with limited EPUB experience.

      I want to create an EPUB with a pop-up navigational TOC, rather than a TOC that appears along side content. Similar to a webpage, you click on a hamburger icon, the TOC/menu pops up over other content, you click where you want to go and the menu vanishes.

      This can’t be created in inDesign, I am told, but can be built manually.

      Where would you start? Is it covered in any course you know of?

      Thanks for any help you can provide.

      I’m not sure if this is possible in a reflowable EPUB, since content moves around, there really isnt a “top of the page” or margins to put something like what you’re talking about. It might be possible to do in fixed layout, but I’m just speculating and unsure of how to go about doing it.
