Unexpected Guides behaviour – not showing & not deleting

      I have some guides on master spread X, they are all in one layer and they are not locked. I expected that any other master based on X would show the guides, off course I’m writing because they don’t. The problems are:
      • the guides show on the right hand page but not the left
      • the left page shows another guide that I can’t locate or delete

      I have checked all layers and the rogue guide is definitely not on Master Spread X. I have also checked the child spread, the rogue guide is definitely on the guides layer and nowhere else, the layer doesn’t have guides locked but I could not delete it. Finally CTRL Shift allowed me to select it and delete, this suggests that it was on another layer I think but I have proved it wasn’t. I don’t understand what I did but perhaps I don’t care right now.

      My remaining problem is that the guides don’t show on the left-hand page. Can anyone suggest why not?
