      Hi,

This is a very basic question but since I am now retired I am not totally in sync with today’s world.
      1) I am supposed to give a presentation next June in France.
      2) I only know that I will have a projector (I assume, something main stream)
      3) I would like to produce a file that can be played on an ersatz computer (an iphone, a kindle fire, even a small tablet..)
      4) What format do you suggest I should use converted from an Indesign file (Text + Pictures) PDF, HTML, Epub, other?
      Thanks

      Serge

Serge, since the projector is connected to the ersatz, what ever is on the computer in the way of documents or files; PDFs, jegs, pngs, if the apps are on the machine they can be viewed directly from the projector. The projector is just that, a projector. I would use PDFs. I’m sure Adobe Acrobat reader will work with this computer. Or contact someone in France who may suggest the best file format. All the presentation I create are done with Microsoft Powerpoint which can now support imported PDFs. You should also know what screen size the presentation will be projected at. It can be 4:3 standard or 16:9 widescreen, you can than make your layouts for the presentation accordingly. Bonne Chance

      Thanks a lot.

      You covered all.

I’ll use the pdf format (and you removed my lack of understanding about the projector’s input…)

      Best

      Hello friend,

I have resolved all my problems of connection to a projector (which is an epson with hdmi).

Now I would like to ask you something else.
Since I would like the presentation to be like a slide presentation, what program would you suggest I use to show, both text and pictures?

      Again with my thanks.

      Serge Angeric
