      hi friends
      I have a problem
I have paragraph style with special stylistic set (OpenType feature).
in a some words i want cancel the stylistic set by find & change, but if I choose in the box “Find format” the stylistic set and remove the V, its not working.

      what could I do?

My first guess is that you just can’t remove it on certain words. I think you will have to create a character style with that stylistic set turned off and replace the words with that new character style.

      thanks but not working…
(if I turn off the stylistic set in the character style, its not affect on the paragraph style with the set)

That is an interesting problem! Here’s why I think this happens: InDesign lets you apply more than one stylistic set to a paragraph using paragraph styles, and it uses whatever the highest number is.

(You can see this in the Stylistic Set pop-up menu, because you can select #1 and then go back and select #3, and you will see that both are selected.)

So if you apply Stylistic Set #3 to a paragraph and then, with a character style, apply Stylistic Set #1, the result is not #1 on top of #3, but rather #3 still wins.

But if the character style applies #4, then it will work.

Maybe this is a bug? I’m not sure.

Its not a bug, it’s just that the developers of InDesign did not think it.
Many definitions of OpenType have three modes: Yes, No, and default.
For example the character style settings, if I choose “ordinals” or “contextual Alternets” I can choose V, blank, or blue square that leave defines the default
