TOC page number on next line

      I have been trying all morning to fix a problem I am having with TOC. Each entry is formatted as I set it up, Arial Narrow, 9 pt Bold, (period) leaders but the page number appears on the next line. I have tried changing tabs and indents and spacing but nothing seems to change it. I have styles H1 – H5 and TOC1 – TOC5. HI uses TOC1 with Right Indent tab. I can manually fix each entry by placing the cursor just before the number and pushing Backspace. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

      Weird! I wonder if there is an extra space or character in the “Between Entry and Number” field (click “More Options” to see that info if you can’t see it)

      There are no extra spaces or special characters. I have decided to manually hit backspace before each number which makes each entry correct. It will probably take all of 15 minutes to fix.

      I will try and solve this problem when I am not working to get a book to the press for a client.
