      Hi People

wonder if someone can help,, i have trial version of indesign to enable me to design a ad in a small magazine….it had to be size 130mm x 90mm which i did.

Had to send it off as a jpeg or pdf which i did, but when i convert it it saves it as much biggger..

How do i export it to the original size?

Any help will be very appreciated
      Thanks

If you export as PDF, it shouldn’t be a different size.
JPEG is harder. If it is an ad, you should use PDF, not jpeg.

If you save the JPG as 72 dpi, it will keep the same size. If you double the resolution (144 dpi), InDesign will also double the size. Not sure why!

No, that is not the case, Colleen. Just check the size of the JPG in Photoshop, Mark. You might be seeing the JPG in some viewer…

Check if that helps or Export it to a PDF as David suggested. The PDF can then be saved as JPG, if needed.
