Now’s your chance to own a pair of casual shoes in an authentic Pantone color. These limited edition SeaVees + Pantone shoes will be in retail outlets in the spring of 2009. While they aren’t yet publicly available, you can submit your order via a private online store on or before Monday, November 24th.
Shoemaker SeaVees names its styles to honor an influential date in “1960s California-cool history.”
The Pantone-colored style is named 09/63, which refers to the release of the first PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM in September 1963. SeaVees chose seven colors from the original Pantone color guide.
