i’m sorry for not being clear. on each page there is 12 text frames. i want the script to select the first three frames. join the text frames to one frame. the select the next three frames and merge them together and so on and so fort.

inside the merge text frame script you can choose to have the text frame to fit the frame to the content.

i hope i explained it better.
