      Hi everyone,

I have a page of a document that has 2 images on it (as anchored objects). Let’s call them X and Y. They are both rectangular and X is directly above Y. In InDesign, they look fine. When I export to PDF, X disappears and is replaced by Y. Since X is bigger than Y, the rest of X’s “box” is filled in black. Y also appears again in its correct location. I am so confused and can’t find anyone who has experienced a similar problem. Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening?

      Thank you in advance.

I what acrobat are you viewing the file? Is in acrobat “overprint” set to on?

Thanks for your response Gert. I have viewed it in Reader XI and Acrobat X. It looks the same regardless of whether overprint is on or not.

Did you ever figure out what was wrong? I am willing to take a look at the file if you want to email it to me.
