      Hello:

I know there is a similar post to this but my issue is a bit different. I have a customer who has an Indesign document using the font GT Walsheim. They use Extensis Universal Type Server so multiple users access the font from the server. When UserA prints the document the font GT Walsheim does not print correctly but displays correctly on the screen, UserB printing the same doc, prints correctly. Same versions of CS, Acrobat and Mac OS. UserA exports the document out as a PDF, same bad result. This is what I’ve tired so far:
      1) zapped the font caches
      2) removed the indesign and acrobat preferences.
      3) Created a document in MS Word using that font and it printed correctly.

Any ideas of what to try next or what could be causing this.
      Thanks in advance. Rick

Is that font a postscript font or opentype?

If postscript, it’s possible the printer font is corrupt (postscript fonts come with screen fonts and printer fonts).

My first thought was missing printer fonts, but since User B was able to print, that rules that out.

What happens if you create a “Document fonts” folder and put the fonts in there on the local computer (bypassing Extensis), and put that in the folder where the ID document is?
