    I am working in CS6..I created a disclaimer text on the bottom on Master Page A. I want it in the same place on Master Page B so I clicked on Master A…copied…clicked on Master B and then clicked on paste in place.
    It either pastes it someplace random on the page or in the same exact place on Master A even though I am clicked on Master B.

    What is going on?

    You need to double-click master B to actually be viewing it. Just clicking it only selects it.

    But instead you might want to set up Master B to be “based on” master A. That way everything on A would also be on B (though you could then remove some of the stuff on A if you didn’t want it).
