Why is document.layoutGridData.lineAki Would not it work?

      app.layoutGridData.pointSize = 3.35 + “mm”;
      app.layoutGridData.lineAki = 1.71*2.8346;
      //work

      myDocument.layoutGridData.pointSize = 3.35 + “mm”;
      myDocument.layoutGridData.lineAki = 1.71*2.8346;
      //not work

      what is the reason?
